He Gives, He Takes (Job 1) by joeday
This week was hard. Lot’s of things competing for time. It was difficult to sit down and really hash out what I wanted to do this week. That’s why this is coming a little late.
This song is actually a piece I’ve been working on for a couple of weeks, but really expanded this week when thinking about the book of Job and realizing that it would be a perfect fit for exploring the first chapter. I’ve got some words scribbled down, but haven’t fully written them out yet. Excited.
Also, I helped my brother buy a new acoustic guitar yesterday and since he needed to stash it at my house while he’s visiting, I decided I’d record it to see how it sounds. It’s the first guitar you hear and is constant through out the track. BTW…it’s by Great Divide, cost $299 has solid spruce top and bone nut and bridge. $299!! It plays and sounds much better than the price. Awesome.
