Farther Along

"You want and want to be different. The life you’re living is missing something and you know it’s only a matter of time until the wounds bleed out. So you memorize the lines and practice the actions until you’re sure no one will notice the brokenness. You want to be different so badly, you have not only convinced people around you, you’ve even convinced yourself. The truth we must all realize is that it is not until your heart has a radical encounter with Christ you will truly change. Everything else is merely a band-aid that temporarily stops the bleeding.
Until we want to lose the life we have constructed ourselves, we will never find life in its fullest form. Jesus already bled for you. There’s no need to pretend anymore."
