Occupy Philly: 15 Arrested Protesting Police Brutality

fuckyeahmarxismleninism:

9:00 p.m. update: The jail solidarity crew has gotten an update from the Occupy Philly Legal Working Collective that we may need bail money in the next six hours for the arrestees of the police brutality sit-in. Additionally, there were actually fifteen—not fourteen, as previously reported—people who have been arrested. The jail solidarity crew is going strong, offering support outside the Roundhouse. They are in need of cardboard to sit on, coffee, snacks, and instruments to keep their spirits up during this chilly night. There are still no charges, however as previously stated in the last update, we are concerned about the need to post bail in the middle of the night, tonight, so please donate. Anything helps.
