I disagree greatly. I feel like Olivia was throwing up a barrier because time & time again, that is what she has done. Season 1 there was the whole plan that her & Mellie came up for Mellie to get pregnant with Teddy. Season 2 she had to be a gladiator. Season 3 she told Fitz about Mellie being raped as away to get Fitz to go back towards Mellie. Everything that she does, it seems is to push him back into the arms of Mellie, the one place that he does not want to be.

The true about Olivia is…

Fitz has proven time & time again that he has nothing for left for Mellie. Even after finding out that she was raped by his father, he was sympathetic towards her pain & everything that she must have endured but love, he had none of that for her. He was still wanting Olivia to be at his speech with him.

I think she was being a nutty ass froot loop bitch quite honestly. Nothing that she did was her, ”doing what was right.“ What is right about hurting someone who love you more than they love themselves? What is right about leaving the only person who will move heaven & earth for you? She not only doesn’t love herself but she doesn’t love or respect Fitz as a man because if she did, she wouldn’t keep taking his choice away. Every time she ups & leaves him for whatever cereal box of Trix the writers can come up with, she is proving how much she doesn’t love & value this man. You can’t still someone’s voice & claim to love them or claim that you are doing it what is right. This is Scandal for God’s sake. Nothing is right.

No she couldn’t because Olivia doesn’t want Vermont. Olivia wants to control everything & everyone under the guise of “fixing” them or their problems. Olivia, the way she is being written right now is someone who is incapable of love. She does not love herself so she does not know how to receive the true love of some who is madly in love with her. She is attempting to control every situation & what she is really doing is making everything worst.

Where was a lie told in what Fitzgerald said about Mellie? None of what he said was horrible. It was all truthful. Mellie has always been about herself & having power. She was raped, it was the terrible awful. It should have never happened but the fact still remains that the morning after her rape, she sat down at a table with the devil & sold herself for power. She sold herself short. She don’t lover herself either.

I’m going to not address you next part about ”the good we all love in Olivia came out” because what you see as good, I see as a low coward ass move. Olivia is the snake in the fucking garden now in my opinion. She is not to be trusted because

Her excuses are weak as fuck & I wish she just be honest with herself & tell Fitzgerald, “I not really looking for nothing but some dick that can touch my esophagus.“ That is all she seems to want. I am not seeing a woman who wants love. Her saying that she wouldn’t want Fitz if he left Mellie now is COMPLETE BULLSHIT.

But yea, I agree with this. Olivia is where she is because she wants to be. She’s a mistress because she wants to be. There is no Vermont because she doesn’t really want Vermont. It’s really simple. the black ass bottom line is that yes, for a grown ass woman Oliva has a lot of growing up to do but at the end of the day Fitzgerald Grant is a fuckboy ! Mellie is a monster but only because her husband, the person who shoulda loved her more than anyone else made her that way. Can we stop making Olivia the bad guy ( she may be dumb but her heart is good & even if she is bad do you see who her mother is ?!?! blame genetics not her ) and realize Fitz created this entire fuck ass mess in the first place.

Explain how Fitz made Mellie that way. I dare you. If you watched 3.07 you would see that Mellie was calculated from day 1. She gave up her career without even being asked by Fitz — it wasn’t a thought. She used her rape (which is awful in and of itself) to blackmail Big Jerry so that Fitz would run for office. She chose to not communicate what happened to her — which is her right, but at the same time you cannot expect anyone to read your mind and know what’s wrong with you. A relationship/marriage without mutual communication is a DEAD one. Their marriage died the day Mellie decided to keep the secret to herself. So basically, theglam-guru, your premise is Fitz made Big Jerry rape Mellie and thus put all of this in motion? Really?

Also? Did Fitz make Mellie cosign the affair in 2.08? Did Fitz make Mellie bring Olivia to the White House in 1.03 so that he would be able to sleep? Did Fitz make Mellie tell I is that she broke his heart in 1.07? Did Fitz make Mellie out their unborn child at risk by inducing 4,5 weeks early all so that she could remain FLOTUS in 3.07? I can go on and fucking on. The point is, stop with the poor Mellie routine, which serves to not place responsibility on Mellie for her life. She’s where she is because of her actions. Fitz did noting to her, he didn’t make her any way. She was always calculating and always prized being FLOTUS about everything.

To say Fitz created the entire mess takes Olivia’s agency away from her, which goes against everything KW has said about the character. Like Fitz said, he didn’t happen to her. She made her own decisions. And KW has said that she appreciates the fact that it’s Olivia who makes the decision about Fitz — she’s not coerced or seduced. It’s OLIVIA making this decisions with her own fucking brain.

Honestly, your whole argument is full of shit and holes and clearly you have not seen every episode of the show.
