Dior in Miniature

At some point, we lost the respect for fashion as art. Most famous fashion designers I know spent long hours studying and went to incredibly expensive design schools to some how end up being the one in a million that have a name for themselves. They followed their passion, took tons of risks, and made it! Along with their imagination, their business is successful with a team of highly skilled artisans, creative directors, and seamstresses. Every single part to a designer gown is considered. Even down to what kind of thread. Yes, there are types of threads. Some made out of cotton, some that have more stretch, some that could never tear apart from wear. At some point, we started to appreciate the way our phones look more than how we look. I love my phone and no offense to the techy-type that you may be. I DO care more about what I look like though than what my phone looks like. At the end of the day, what are we now taking photos of? Ourselves. Now let’s take a selfie!

What about the clothing that we wear? How long does it take to make a mini Dior dress? How many people are involved in the creation? Let’s appreciate the art behind fashion and the many talented American designers we have in the Bridal Industry!
