HOW-TO: SUNSET OMBRE LIPS
By Kailey

I finally got my hands on three of the NYX Macaron lipsticks and I LOVE them! While playing around with the lipsticks, I noticed some wouldn’t stick to the center of my lips, making them look patchy. I thought I’d mask this slight problem by creating an ombre effect - one that also makes an unconventional color more wearable!

YOU WILL NEED:
- NYX Lavender Lipstick
- NYX Apple Streusel Butter Gloss
- Red Lipgloss (I’m using MAC’s Strawberry Malt)
- Translucent Powder

STEP ONE: Use cover entire lips with NYX’s lipstick in the shade “lavender”.

STEP TWO: Using NYX Apple Streusel Butter Gloss, dab pink gloss from center of lips outwards.

STEP THREE: Blend gloss outward.

STEP FOUR: Dab a candy red in center of lips and blend towards. Repeat as desired for more opaque color.

STEP FIVE: Set the gloss with a translucent powder

And you are done! I really love this color combination - it reminds me of peachy purple summer sunsets <3
