Estee Lauder was where I first began my makeup stash, because my grandmother would gift me little palettes and those bags you get GWP. I don’t use it any more, I am more of an Urban Decay & NYX girl myself but the formula for Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Lipstick can’t be beaten and I do wish I was more interested in the brand. I just swiped on Malt Truffle this afternoon and I spent a good five minutes staring at how pretty the bullet is. I couldn’t photograph the gold sparkles properly, but it seriously looks like liquid gold!
If I were even mildly interested in the color as it is on my lips, I’d wear it much more often. As it is, it’s a super moisturizing lipstick that almost feels like a balm, it’s a very soft formula, probably the least drying lippie I’ve ever tried. If you like shimmery, sheer nude golds this is a great one to look for, though it’s an old release. It’s luxe – $24 ish, but I do recommend the ED Pure Color Lipstick range. I just wish they had more of a selection.
