haul: gmarket! (featuring etude house and coggi)

image

I purchased all of my basic skincare for pretty much the year from Gmarket recently since I had a couple coupons that were about to expire and I was running out of absolutely everything. Included in this haul were toners, emulsions and a sunscreen from Etude House, and a sunscreen from Coggi, a Korean brand I haven’t tried yet. One of the things that I like about ordering from Gmarket in bulk is that there are always free samples and sometimes buy one get one free deals. The key is to purchase from there in bulk because buying one or two things will not balance out the shipping (in which, I would recommend purchasing from ebay or separate Korean skincare websites).

List of the items I purchased and mini descriptions of the products after the cut! (。^_・)ノ

Etude House

  • Skin mal:gem smoother | 250 ml: This is one of the new toners from Etude House, famously advertised by SHINee - this one is Onew’s (which is why I am now the questionably proud owner of…SHINee sticky notes. I don’t like SHINee. :| LOL). It is also one of their ‘5-free’ products, meaning it does not contain parabens, artificial dyes, benzophenon, mineral oils and animal material. :O Not many Etude House products have parabens anyway, but it’s awesome to have an easy way to identify paraben-free products if that’s important to you. This is the exfoliation toner.
  • Skin mal:gem deep moist | 250 ml: I got the two mal:gem toners as a set for around $20 dollars. This is the deep moisture care freshener, with hyaluronic acid. Again, this product is '5-free.’
  • Collagen Moistfull Emulsion | 150 ml: I got this as a sample from my last Etude House haul last year, and I absolutely fell in love with it. Very light on the face with so much moisture that I can use whether my face is oily, dry or something in-between.
  • Collagen Moistfull Facial Freshener | 150 ml: Also got this as a sample, and I liked how my face brightens up after using this. It’s moisturizing as well, so I can use this when my face is extra oily and skip the moisturizer.
  • Be Clear Skin Toner | 150 ml: This is one of my favorite toners ever so I needed a backup. …yep! That’s about it. Evens out my skintone slowly and brightens my complexion.
  • Be Clear Moisturizer SPF 30 PA++ | 120 ml: Since I like the toner so much, I wanted to see if the moisturizer was awesome. We’ll see~
  • Sun Toner Water Jelly Sun Toner SPF 30 PA++ | 80 ml: My first thought when I put this in my cart was 'I wish this was bigger.’ D: I’m looking for a sunscreen that doesn’t break me out. Hoping that the formula is a bit more like a lotion than a cream (better for oily/combination skin).
  • Samples: I didn’t picture them. …usually I’m really excited for the samples but these were kind of saddening. Again, SHINee sticky notes?? RLY. :| And then I got fuzzy socks and cotton pads. Did I mention the fact that SHINee STICKY NOTES. :|

Coggi

  • Flowerbox Sun Block Cream SPF 50+ PA+++ | 70 ml: New brand for me and I was drawn in by the buy one get one free plus free samples so I caved in. I actually tried this recently and first impressions are good! Even though the formula is a cream (whoops), it’s really light and blendable (you do need to blend it for the white sheen to go away). The thing I really like about it is that it leaves the skin very matte, perfect for base makeup application if you have oily/combination skin. Also, this product’s fragrance is like flowers punching you in the face. If you are sensitive to fragrance, steer far away! If you like flowery scents, this is the sunscreen for you.
  • Samples: I got two Vitamin C Essential Brightening Masks from Coggi. I love masks. I am quite pleased. :3

And that’s it! *headdesk* If you want additional pictures or reviews, let me know. I can do immediate reviews on the collagen set, the Be Clear toner, and the Coggi sunscreen. However, with the other things, I’m not going to be using them for a while, so I’ll put them on a list and once I do open then, I’ll review them. Toodles~ (ノ°ο°)ノ
