L’oreal lash architect 4D has been my best friend for a while now, what mascaras have you tried this year?

well currently i’ve been testing out Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara, and while it really does give the most obnoxiously long lashes, I’m not fond of the brush, it really refuses to NOT clump the product onto your lashes – I’ve never had to use a comb to go through my lashes to get excess product off but i have to with this one. the sheer amount of product you waste each time you swipe the side of the packaging to get rid of excess product is also kind of sad. you always get too much! also it doesn’t last all day on me and ends up ruining my eye makeup by the end of the day.

i do like and have used Urban Decay’s Lush Lash for a long time, but when I ran out i decided not to purchase it again until i find another one i like. it’s great for voluminous lashes, but not long ones. it does have my absolute FAVORITE mascara brush though. but the formula is pretty unremarkable.

have also tried voluminous, shiseido, maybelline… i think i’ve tried seven mascaras this year, but i’m not wholly committed to any.
