It was only in 2011, when models sauntered down the polished floors of a high school school gym wearing 90s baby doll dresses and an assortment of laser cut leather pieces for Sevigny’s debut runway show.

Now, in its fifth season collaboration, Chloe does it again with her recently launched collection for Opening Ceremony.

A new day has arrived, which means that there’s probably a new Karl Lagerfeld collaboration lurking around somewhere in the world.

And as ubiquitous as Lagerfeld’s collaborations have become, the too-cute tokidoki collab might just be one of our favorites.

Consisting of three limited-edition Lagerfeld figurines, one of which includes Karl’s famous cat Choupette, and clothing and accessories, like iPhone cases and clutches, the tokidoki x KARL LAGERFELD will be available starting today at the Tokidoki boutique in Los Angeles, in select Karl Lagerfeld stores and online at Net-a-Porter.com

In an effort to add variety to their classic rain boot seasonal offerings, Wellington boot maker, Hunter Boot Ltd,  has recently tapped into the power of designer collaborations.

The Edinburgh, Scotland-based brand tapped designers Jimmy Choo and J. Mendel–both offering very glamorous takes on the classic wellington rain boots–for their last collaboration collections.  However, for this new collaboration, Hunter has teamed up with Rag & Bone to create a small collection of boots in anticipation for the fall season.

Rag & Bone, an American fashion label with strong British roots, offers a cool, city-chic feel to this new collection. These boots offer a similar silhouette to the classic boot, adding a gunmetal zipper up the side, giving the boot a military feel in five colors perfect for fall. This collection, Hunter X Rag & Bone, offers both short and tall boot options, allowing for the perfect fashion accessory for the coming fall rainy days.

The choice for Hunter to collaborate with Rag & Bone is not surprising. Both fashion labels have strong British roots, and with that comes an understanding of the need to look chic in a torrential downpour. This past spring, Rag & Bone booties were a staple in most celebrities’ closets. With fans like Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, andMiranda Kerr, to name only a few, the popularity of this brand and their boots is only increasing with the new fall collection.

Look for the Classic Newbury and Harrow Boots to be big sellers this upcoming season, in addition to the Hunter x Rag & Bone collection.

This collaboration hits stores September 9, but they can be preordered online at Rag & Bone.

America’s most beloved Beagle, Snoopy, and his sister, Belle, are getting the fashion treatment for the second time, as part of the “Peanuts” comic strip’s 65th anniversary.

It was in 1984, when designers such as Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lagerfeld and many other notable names outfitted the Charles Schulz-created siblings in a “Snoopy for Fashion” for exhibition for Louvre and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.

Now, according to WWD, the “Peanuts” pups are to be outfitted again for the 30th Anniversary of the original “Snoopy for Fashion” exhibition.

Both Betsey Johnson and Diane von Furstenberg participated in the first exhibition 30 years ago, and both designers will return for a second round with Dries Van Noten, Calvin Klein Collection, Isabel Marant, Rodarte and others.

2014’s “Snoopy and Belle in Fashion” exhibition, which will feature the vinyl siblings dressed in designer duds, will launch during New York Fashion week on September 6 at the New Museum’s Sky Room.

Hang on Snoopy, Snoopy hang on. We’ll be there to see you, and your comic-couture, at Fashion Week.

Incase Launches Mara Hoffman-Designed iPhone Cases

In a marriage of fashion and technology, Incase, the gadget accessories company, has teamed up with fashion designer Mara Hoffman to produce a collection of iPhone covers.

In our favorite  Incase collaboration yet, the New York designer, known for her tribal, bold and playful prints—has released five iPhone case designs that are inspired from her previous womenswear collections.

Past Incase collaborations have included Shepard Fairey, Andy Warhol and Paul Rodriguez.

If Versace’s official confirmation of an upcoming capsule collection with Grammy award-winning singer/rapper M.IA. didn’t get you excited enough, the first images of the collaboration have just been released by the Italian fashion house.

Jumping on the all-over-print trend, the M.I.A. designed 19-piece Versus collection, which is slated to be released on Oct.16, is full of busy kaleidoscope prints inspired by fake Versace merchandise knock-offs seen on the streets of London.

In a press release, M.I.A. explains the reason behind her knock-off inspiration, saying, “It’s always been part of the M.I.A. culture to talk about bootlegs, and people that sell them or make them.”

“When I was approached by Versace, it seemed like a good idea to take that and reverse the cycle. Versace designs have always been bootlegged, now it’s Versace bootlegging the bootleg for the bootleggers to bootleg the bootleg. This is to keep that cycle going.”

Perhaps if someone can make cheap look chic, it would be M.I.A., right?
