#1- Marshalls: Great selection of backpacks! Now that my kids are teens, they prefer backpacks by Jansport & they can be quite expensive. Marshalls has a nice variety of Jansport patterns/colors & other great brands. Great selection for younger kids too. Marshalls puts racks full of backpacks out now (mid July) but they don’t last!
Marshalls also has a great selection of name brand clothes & shoes. With the constant restocking, its worth going back again & again.
#2- Target: for school supplies & clothes- Love the colors & styles & large selection available. The great tip is to buy early in the season while it’s in stock & when it goes on sale bring your receipt in for a price adjustment. **Do check with your local Target about the policy on price adjustments & how much time they allow *Price adjustments are only given on the week the special sale is running (advertised in the Target weekly circular. Extra Savings- use the Target Visa for a 5% discount off your purchase & free shipping on online purchases. Extra Extra Savings- for online shopping, go through ebates.com or fatwallet.com & get rebates back on your purchase. Those rebates really add up!
#3- The 99cents Only Store: for school supplies- Lots of great school supplies! Snacks too - stock up & freeze them for lunch boxes.
**An extra tip for saving money on back to school clothes: There are better sales on clothes AFTER school starts.
