We know what you’re thinking ─ Global Finals is more than seven months away. It’s not even tournament season yet.
While the event is still several months away, event planning for the biggest celebration of creativity takes a full year to complete.
Each Destination Imagination (DI) season, our staff works extremely hard to make sure that each and every person who goes to Global Finals, as well as everyone who participates via social media and DITV from home, has an experience unlike any they’ve had before. And whether you’ve been to Global Finals or watched the event from home, you can see that our staff, army of DI volunteers and incredible University of Tennessee crew put a lot of passion and time into all of our activities, camps and events.
Without our amazing sponsors and supporters, including 3M, NASA, National Geographic, Motorola and IBM, however, Global Finals and the Destination Imagination Challenge Program would not be able to thrive. Sponsorships and donations allow us to keep the cost of the Challenge Program down, to fund Global Finals, and to continue evolving as the sturdiest organization committed to cultivating creativity in students. Because of this need, we start our Global Finals promotional efforts before tournament season begins.
Throughout the next several months, we will be celebrating every step of the creative process right beside you and making sure we are prepared to celebrate your team’s great journey in the best way possible.
