I had an interesting conversation with this late 20s or early 30’s woman. I noticed her puck and asked her if she played hockey or field. Turns out that it was neither, it was “floor” hockey, you know like the one near Cherry park?
I striked up a conversation with her and it was a very pleasant and well spent 20 minutes. Because of this stranger, who by the way is actually in her 40s, I’ve got another thing added to my bucket list. It really isn’t anything huge, but it’s something I want to be able to do.
She’s part of two floor hockey leagues and that’s how she’s met her good friends. When I’m in my 30’s and 40’s, I want to join a league of some sort. Whether it be something completely out of my comfort zone or not. It is the PERFECT de-stressor AND a way to make and keep friends. I’ve already decided on that, and it’s going to happen. :)
