Ladies of 4-H (and their bulls)!

Campbell County hosts its annual fair the first weekend in August and this year, as usual, the Cam-Plex barns were filled with craft and home projects, sheep, pigs, and rabbits to name only a few animals.  Above are photographs celebrating the ladies of Campbell County 4-H fairs and gatherings from days gone by.

Clockwise from the top left:  Helen Parks and her 4-H bull (Aug. 1949), Mrs. Charles Cook telling a group of girls in Recluse what to look for in a good cake for 4-H Achievement Day (Aug. 1945), Shirley Ware and her purebred bull (Aug. 1944), Miss Mae Baird assisting a 4-H training and judging meeting in Rozet (Aug. 1945).
