Pixa 1.1
The best image organizer for the Mac is now even best-er, thanks to a major update you can get in the Mac App Store.
Snap Websites
One of the best new features in Pixa 1.1 is a website screenshot utility built right in. You can browse sites in Pixa and snap screenshots of the entire page (no matter how tall) with a single click or keyboard shortcut.
If you’re more the Safari or Chrome type, install our new browser extensions: Page Snapper to snap entire pages to Pixa, and Images Grabber to send all images on the page to your Pixa library.
Search Assistant
Speaking of your library, whether you have 100 or 10,000 images in Pixa, we want to help you find what you need as fast as possible. Sure, Pixa auto-tags images based on their dominant colors and size. But we wanted to give you more control and speed, so we added Search Assistant with a whole bunch of special search tokens.
In Pixa 1.1, you can now search by specific criteria like tags, notes, images that are in Live Folders, width, height, and images that do not yet belong to a project.
Snapping websites and Search Assistant are just a couple highlights of Pixa 1.1. We also have a smarter and more efficient thumbnail system, and faster Live Folder sync.
We’re delighted to release Pixa 1.1, so give the demo a try, let us know what you think on Twitter, and pick up your copy on the Mac App Store.
