If each game file on the sims is actually a pocket universe and the people inside it don’t notice the inconsistencies and weird stuff because it’s the only universe they’ve ever known, then I am a horrible evil person

My legacy founder’s husband just died. I could have saved him. I very easily could have made him immortal. I could have made all of them young forever, immune to hunger and fatigue, and rich beyond their wildest imagination. But I took the person whose physical form I designed in painstaking detail, whose life I’ve guided and cultivated, whose continuing bloodline is the sole purpose of her universe, I made her fall in love with someone and then I allowed him to die on the steps of the hospital because saving him would be breaking rules that I have set on myself

Like, imagine how mad you would be if you heard that there was a god who was totally able to fix every problem in your life, and under normal circumstances they would, but they were choosing not to because they want to see if they can get you 10 generations of descendants without cheating

Dan, I think many people call that Christianity.

That’s like, one of the main reasons I’m no longer a Christian.
