Thanksgiving Break Boo-boo’s

Thanksgiving Break Boo-Boos

The great Thanksgiving holiday is our greatest motivator to get through the next two weeks. Unfortunately, most students approach the break with a misguided mentality.

Here are a few things that run through our minds:

1. It’s over!
Lol. It’s not. It’s just not yet over. Indeed, classes might slow down, but it doesn’t mean that YOU should! Keep up the pace. And if anything this just might be the calm before the storm aka Hurricane Finals/Big papers.

2. What’s ‘school’?
Now, I’m not saying don’t take a break. Please! You deserve it! However, don’t go home not looking ahead. What’s due when your sweet little break is over? Deadlines! Make sure you are well aware of what is due when…

3. Yes! I have all the time in the world!
…because no, you won’t have all the time in the world. Take into account the traveling time, the eating, seeing old friends, etc. Next thing you know you don’t have time to work on the 30 pages of reading you have to do or the 8-pages paper you have to write in a different language… Trust me, you don’t wanna be there.

Treat yourself right. Plan ahead of time. Map out your break. You won’t be able to enjoy it if you’re overwhelmed with what comes after! If you already have a game plan, then you’ll be able to accomplish all that you want to!

Be wise, my friends.
Enjoy
