Joshua 1:5 & 9 says, No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you! This is my command - Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go!

Here Joshua is getting ready to lead many people into a new land and conquer it! God gives him all the instructions he needs and says,“Be strong and courageous! I will not fail you.” What an incredible promise! I am so thankful for this promise! Everyday we face challenges ranging from finances, moral issues, people, balancing life and work…and the list goes on. But here’s the good news, God says don’t be afraid or discouraged because He is with us wherever we go! So we have the choice - Do we face our challenges with the “it is what it is” mentality, or do we face our challenges head on knowing God will not fail us or abandon us? We have to make the choice! So today, be strong and courageous! God is with you!
