The cube has been rotated 180 degrees about the y-axis at the center of the cube (i.e., at x = 0, z = 0.) The same result is arrived at if, instead of rotating the cube through 180 degrees, the observer moves 180 degrees around the table upon which the cube resides to the opposite side.
