How did you meet?
We met on OkCupid. I (Becky) was logging on to delete my account when I got this long, very personal and interesting message and thought there was no harm in just talking to this guy. We have been talking to each other non-stop ever since.
What is the best advice you could give couples for a happy and harmonious relationship?
Be patient and seek to understand one another. always share everything and discuss every topic even if it’s embarrassing or difficult to say because that will just make you grow closer.
What does the typical Saturday night look like for you two?
Rigo works on Saturdays, but on days off we are usually out on an adventure. We are both huge fans of delicious food and like to discover new types of cuisine or just really great food. if we aren’t out, we are probably snuggled inside with a cup of tea and watching commercials since we both love marketing.
If someone made your love story into a book, what would the title be?
“Unexpected Joy”
What is your favorite feature in Avocado?
Media sharing. We both like to share pictures of things we see while we aren’t together, or photos that come out really well of things we see while on adventures.
What’s your favorite thing about your boo, and what’s your boo’s favorite thing about you?
I love so many things about Rigo, his angelic voice, amazing cooking skills, when he is silly and makes me laugh, but most of all I love his compassionate spirit and endless patience. His favorite things about me are my passion and openness. Rigo is the first date I’ve had where I felt comfortable enough to just be myself, goofiness and all, so we both bounce off that positive energy.
What is your favorite guacamole recipe?
Classic mashed avocado with a generous squeeze of lemon juice, and maybe some chopped up onion, tomato, and cilantro. If I’m feeling lazy, I just throw in some pre-made salsa with the avocado instead.
