Important Dates reminder for AIDS2014

Scarlet Alliance, APNSW & NSWP have received confirmation that we will be hosting the Sex Worker Networking Zone at the Global Village during IAC 2014 in Melbourne, Australia between 21-25th July, 2014. The space will host a program of events, creating a space for sex workers to present, discuss and advocate on our issues. Sex workers and sex worker organisations that would like to submit an activity, performance or event to be held in the Networking Zone can fill in the activity proposal form below.

Please let other sex workers who may be interested in contributing to sessions in this space know about this opportunity. A peer steering committee including representatives from Scarlet Alliance, APNSW & NSWP will make final decisions about the program for the Networking Zone.

Sex Worker Networking Zone AIDS 2014 Activity Proposal Form

Scarlet Alliance, Australian Sex Workers Association, APNSW and NSWP will be hosting the Sex Worker Networking Zone at AIDS 2014 in Melbourne Australia from the 20th-25th of July.The zone will be a vibrant hub for everything by and for sex workers at the conference. Daily sex worker community led sessions will increase visibility and knowledge of the sex worker rights movement and raise awareness of issues that affect sex workers. There will be opportunities for discussion, learning and networking with interactive workshops, panel discussions, artworks and even some performances.
