New York rapper with a productive week in Kristiansand

Akir from Washington Heights kept it real (as always) in southern visit.
While most artists who come to Kristiansand to act like go on as fast as they can, chose the rapper / producer Akir (Always Keep It Real) to spend a week in the southern town. The plan was to shoot video ForShow, a musical collaboration with Lethal Injection (Sheepy & Yenemesis), hip-hop workshop for budding artists, street cypher and live performance of Franken Larsen, all directed by Guerilla Republik Scandinavia. In the midst of it all, had Akir also birthday, which was celebrated in great style along with new friends in a place that probably is in stark contrast to the rapper’s home ground, in Washington Heights, NYC. Although the city might get a bit boring , it was a good atmosphere in the studio to The Worker Ant Colony, where he primarily did a collaboration with Lethal Injection, produced by The Worker Ant Colony (Casper the Friendly Ghost Writer & Ken Ivel). The song will be released as part of Lethal Injection’s upcoming album, and there is a risk that it will make a video soon. Akir took the tone of the working ants in The Worker Ant Colony, which ended with a studio session on the very national day. The result you hear below:

There was also a little bit of surprise for the Russians who had hits in Odderøya, where the legendary beatboxers Faith SFX was on the program.Faith SFX is a good friend of Sheepy, and invited the latter and Akir with them on stage for just a little beatbox and rapcypher. Video of this and more of your stay you see below: Akir rest soon release his solo album, Focus , and will probably return to Norway to Kristiansand for more performances this fall. To hear more of Akir, you can do it on the rapper’s website, Alwayskeepitreal.com .
