You wouldn’t tell an alcoholic to just cut back. You wouldn’t tell them to just drink on weekends. Family members wouldn’t keep alcohol in the pantry and friends wouldn’t ask an alcoholic to meet them at a bar. While one person could have 1 drink and be fine, it may set another person into a complete self-districting frenzy.

Food is the same way. Some people can have a treat here and there. Some people can’t have it at all. The same rules can’t apply in every kitchen. The question is: is your issue a habit - and are you feeding it, or killing it? Food is not the enemy. Our flesh is. French fries aren’t the enemy, lack of self control is. Kill the habit.
