- Reboot and enjoy your new Hackintosh
Notes:
- The DSDT above is only half finished. Current fixes needed:
Audio support (Currenly the Non-DSDT HDA Enabler in MultiBeast fixes the problem)( Fixed - June 4, 2012 )- Speedstep issue (DSDT fix?)
- No Thunderbolt
- This is due to the the DSL3510, and DSL3310 (Cactus Ridge) Thunderbot chips having not OS X support. The new Macs that are soon to be release have a high likelihood of using one these chips since they are the newest generation of Thunderbolt chips. Once those Macs have native Ivy Bridge ( PCIe lanes ++) support they will mostly likely have support for these Thunderbolt chips.
“The beauty of Thunderbolt is it’s near invisible to the OS. You don’t need to install any drivers to take advantage of it, just plug your devices in and as long as your devices have driver support they’ll just appear. The OS has no idea that your SATA, Ethernet or RAID controllers are sitting a few feet outside of your box, they all appear as normal PCIe devices." Link
- App Store works. iCloud does not, due to the use of BridgeHelper. Should be fixed with Apple’s offical Ivy Bridge support.
- Messages Beta does not work
- Video works flawlessely tested using Diablo 3
- Audio works. No flaws. Tested only digital out using setup mentioned above.
Geekbench 10.7.4 64-bit:
This is a very early guide. The DSDT still needs some work. Hopefully I (or someone else) will be able to clean it up and post up a fully patched version.
Hope this helps other people. Post here if you need help with your build (TonyMacx86) I’ll try my best to help you. Good luck!
