I was considering buying some Drops of God on kindle and I realized they aren't for use on any of the devices I own and use for eBooks (PC, Mac, and iPad). Was this a stipulation of the rights holders? Is there any chance device restrictions might be lifted in the future?
We have been informed about this issue and have contacted Amazon and Random House about this problem. Apparently it has to do with Amazon’s fixed page formatting. And when they switched the file type for volume 5, that made the pages come out real weird. (That’s also getting fixed).
What I am really confused about is how these do not work on the PC. And for some reason I can make some of them work on my iPhone.
That said, if you can get a refund or if you haven’t purchased them all yet. You can buy them on the Apple iBookStore to read on your iPad. Those work and the formatting is actually better than the Kindle app’s version (as they were custom formatted for use on iOS machines).
