The Swiss Pavilion Stands Out at the MIT European Career Fair
Following DestinationEurope and Life Sciences Night on Saturday, February 21, swissnex Boston opened up the red carpeted Swiss Pavilion at the MIT European Career Fair, hosting Swiss universities and companies. Swiss Airlines sponsored a lounge where visitors could comfortably relax in between networking.
Presenting at booths were ETH Zurich, EPFL, University of Basel, University of Geneva, Swiss National Science Foundation, Greater Zurich Area, Paul Scherrer Institute, IBM Research, Novartis and swissnex Boston itself. Students and researchers stopped by to learn about study programs and career possibilities at these Swiss universities and research institutions.
Interest in Swiss research opportunities was significant, judging by the long queues. Many attendees took advantage of this chance to gain direct access to these companies and their representatives.
