on the subject of terribly named cosmetic products, I think givenchy's dahlia noir perfume should be mentioned. using the code name of a woman who was tortured and violently killed as perfume brand, very serial killer fandom-ish.

Oh there are so many, for instance, there’s Black Dahlia by OCC (and uh, OCC itself) which also references the name given to Elizabeth Short by the media circus after her murder. 

The makeup industry might be misogynistic but not very creatively misogynistic. 

Huh, I always thought that was after the flower?
Mind you, I don’t really know very much about serial killers.
