Every time I read a story about Bletchley Park, I am amazed. Bletchley was a woman’s world: eighty per cent of the 9,000 staff were female!
I can’t even begin to imagine the kind of mixed bag of emotions that living and working in this environment was like for these people. Thrilling, exulting and absolutely devastating - the emotions of war. Not to be shared with your loved ones for another 30 years.
