Cutthroat Capitalism

The assignment for this week was to play games from this website called Water Cooler Games. I am a fan of video games but I haven't been able to really play any in quite a while. This game is about being a pirate and doing pirate things to other boats. You have to use negotiation skills to get money and crew members from boats you are pirating. This game is supposed to be about the concept of capitalism. Capitalism is the idea that means of production is privately owned and operated for profit. In the game you want to be the only ship with enough people to take over any ship. It is similar but I don't understand the ties between the two as well as some of the other games. Although the game is really addicting and fun. I played for an hour and by the end I thought I was a pirate.
