So.. This movie. I don’t even know. I was extremely excited about it, I mean, come on. Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks? I’m sold! But the whole story of this movie, not as impressive.. Which I was also looking forward to, but that was when I thought it was a movie about Tom Hanks dying and a mom and a son dealing with what happened together. Instead, I got an extremely long and incredibly mediocre film about a boy with aspergers talking to strangers in New York.
All in all, the cinematography was wonderful, and I did get teary eyed once (when Sandra Bullock was on the phone with Tom Hanks. Sigh.). It just felt like it dragged on for four hours. I honestly didn’t find the story very interesting and it felt really flat.
