The Raveonettes - Killer in the Streets

The Raveonettes are back  and it seems like they’re ringing in their sinister brand of noise pop with a new video for “Killer in the Streets”. With Sune Rose Wagner playing the “converted heart breaker” and Sharin Foo playing the “beautiful blonde”, the video as directed by fellow Dane and blonde bombshell Rie Rasmussen tracks down an infectious crime spree triggered by “finger guns”. Like the captivating title suggests, “Killer in the Streets” is is a whirr - angy, psychotic guitar work capped off with vocalist Sharin Foo’s ocean of calm. As described by the Danish supermodel/director, “Killer in the Streets” is a  "hypnotic piece of music" that “inspire(s) from the first guitar riff” as she explains below:

“The song moves you along like something you want blasting on the radio as you drive through the streets of L.A. on your way to meet with destiny. I love the idea of heartbreak being something you become contaminated with, sick from. As they say, ‘Hurt people, hurt people’… and if they don’t hurt others they usually break themselves. Love is indeed a dangerous game but it is also the one thing we can all universally relate to.”
