This week’s Modern Art Notes Podcast features Mexico City-based Belgian artist Francis Alÿs.

Alÿs’s most recent film is REEL-UNREEL, a commission that debuted at last year’s Documenta. It’s now on view at David Zwirner gallery in New York. Alÿs made the film in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2011.

Because Alÿs makes many of his works available online via a Creative Commons license, the entire film is also available above and on Alÿs’s own website. MANPodcast.com will feature a different Alÿs film every day for the next week.
