Painter Thomas Nozkowski’s son Casimir is a filmmaker. Several years ago he made this short piece while walking in the woods with his father. Titled “Thomas Nozkowski on a Hike,” the video shows how Nozkowski looks at things as he moves through the landscape – and how they become ideas that inform paintings. Nozkowski and host Tyler Green discussed this video and Nozkowski’s love of walking on this week’s Modern Art Notes Podcast.
