Best iPhone Photo Apps (2013 Edition)
An updated list of my favorite iPhone photo apps. 95% of the time, these are the apps responsible for the photos I post on Instagram.
Afterlight - Formerly known as Afterglow. It’s a powerful image editing app with over 100 of filters and textures. This is currently my second favorite photo editor app.
Cost: $0.99 and so worth it.VSCO Cam - My favorite right now. I love the filters created bythe VSCO team, so much that I also bought their Film 2 and 4 (which I’ve been using for my England posts). THE BUNDLE IS WORTH IT.
Cost: Free, but the bundle cost $5.99. The price is worth it for the quality and output.Instagram - Of course. What’s the point of taking iPhone photos if you won’t be able to share it real-time? I’m not a big fan of their filters but the community’s great. Follow me, yeah?
Cost: FreeClassic Insta - My “food and product” app. I constantly find myself using this app if I want to feature our meal or recent hauls.
Cost: $1.99Hello Camera - I don’t know what’s the difference but this is like an improved version of Camera 360. I use this for my selfies, when I’m having a bad skin day.
Cost: $0.99.A Beautiful Mess - An app created by Elsie and Emma of the award-winning lifestyle blog, A Beautiful Mess. Not a favorite but I like to use this app for the handmade feel of the stickers, borders and handwriting. Not that worth it though.
Cost: $0.99Incredibooth - A photobooth in your pocket. In my opinion, this is the ultimate selfie app. Well, I like using this app when I’m being vain. I also prefer this app than the Pocketbooth.
Cost: $0.99 and worth it if you’re into selfies, lolPicFrame - I use this app to combine multiple images in one photo a.k.a. a photo collage.
Cost: $0.99, but I believe I got this app for free.Whitagram - If I’m not editing a photo using Afterlight, I use this to upload portraits and landscape photos.
Cost: Free… I think.Over - This and Phoster is my favorite when it comes to adding texts on photos. But unlike Phoster, Over has more freedom and options.
Cost: $1.99
