Fashion on The Corner - Tall Girls in Heels

So I overheard and read recently that tall girls (5'9 and above I consider tall) shouldn’t wear heels. Or more shockingly, some tall girls refuse to wear heels because they feel awkward. I’m completely flabbergasted. Like where did these notions come from?

They need to stop right now at this instant. I’m a tall girl and I absolutely adore it. So much so that you rarely see me in anything lower than 4inches. In fact my whole shoe arsenal goes from about three pairs of flats to all 4inches and above. I only purchased flats when I was pregnant.

The shoes in the pic above are 5 inches with a platform. They’re Cesare Paciotti and my favorite pair. I stand about 6'3" in them and I wish a motherlover would tell me I’m already tall so I shouldn’t wear heels. That’s bout the dumbest shit I ever heard. There’s nothing like a tall confident woman strutting in high heels. Embrace your height. Its a gift not a burden.
