…So I’ll talk about something.

I love ska. As in, ska made in North America in the last 20 years.

Reel Big Fish. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Early No Doubt. I swear they used to be a ska band.

Anyway. The two instruments I want to learn are the trumpet and bass guitar. You don’t have to be a master with either of those to make good music. In my opinion. But I’m just a rapper, so whatever.

I haven’t seen that my band-I-quit-but-still-feel-like-I’m-a-part-of is playing at the big event I’m going to at the end of the month (Fanime), and I’ll most likely be upset if they are not.

I’ve been writing a bit, like always, and I’m better with my content, and I’m working on developing another style, more like a pop hop rapper, as well as having my original style. If Jay Z can have seven different styles, so can I. Example:

I be on my hustle like I tripped and fell on it/ Need more rappers like Jin/ You know I got the tonic/ rapping since I was 18/ it’s always been chronic/ Stayin’ fly like Superman….Conner Kent/ Classy while I’m smokin’ up the room…Parliament.

I figure some softball ass rhymes like that won’t be too bad. Can’t give ‘em the miracle, lyrical flows all the time. I’d compare it to the episodes of TV shows made up entirely of clips from previous episodes.

I’d try to, anyway. Maybe you’ll make the leap for me.
