About Joe Arnall

One of Florida’s premier insurance professionals, Joseph Arnall presently serves as the President of the Arnall Group, a firm which represents national insurance companies, including Ohio National Life, ING, and Pacific Life. He is certified as a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant. In addition to his duties as the leader of the Arnall Group, he works as President of Arnall & Associates, a government consulting company he founded in 2000. Under his direction, this Jacksonville, Florida-based firm serves leading clients such as AT&T, Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Florida, and the Georgia Association of Professional Process Servers.

Joseph Arnall previously devoted more than a decade to the Florida legislature, where he served from 1988 until launching his current business in 2000. During his tenure as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, Arnall spent two years as Chair of the Rules and Calendar Committee, in addition to serving on the Health Care Services Committee, the Community Affairs Committee, the Government Appropriations Committee, and the Procedural Council. At various points during his career as a state representative, Arnall was named Legislator of the Year by groups such as the Florida Insurance Council, the Jacksonville Board of Realtors, and the Florida Retail Grocers Association.

Committed to ensuring adequacy and stability of housing for all people, Joseph Arnall was appointed President of the First Coast Family and Housing Foundation in the mid-1990s. In addition to his other civic engagements, he has dedicated the last decade to the Southeastern Legal Foundation, a public-interest law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, whose Board of Directors he currently chairs. A former Co-Chairman of the St. Johns River Celebration, he previously served on the UN Foundation-Center for Local Government Advisory Council.

Prior to his career in public service, Arnall completed his undergraduate education in psychology at the University of the South, where he belonged to the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. A member of the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists, he spends his spare time biking and appreciating art.
