Baby Shower!
I’ve already posted these adorable pics to Facebook but wanted to also get them up on the blog - what a great baby shower in Chicago hosted by Jake’s two aunts, Kathy and Karen! Of course we did a horse theme since Baby Bonk is going to be born in the “Year of the Horse.” My mom procured a lovely horse-themed cake to tie it all together. It was so nice to be surrounded by friends and family including my sister who came in from New York and some of my college friends. It was a lovely afternoon despite the freezing temperatures and snowy weather. I even got to hang with my close friend’s new baby, James, who is just the easiest baby.
A big thanks to everyone who attended. Baby Bonk and I feel so loved.
Now all we have to do is wait for Baby Bonk’s arrival :)
