“I think the thing that is so special about Ariel and the reason why little girls make a connection to her, is because she has a passion. She has a real strong passion to experience something beyond the realm that’s around her. And I think people find that hard to understand, but for a little girl, they are trying to reach for something, that’s kind of beyond their reach? And I think it makes them feel really peaceful to make this connection with Ariel, and know that somebody else feels the same way that they do. She is approachable, and I think as a character, she has such tremendous heart, that you just can’t help but fall in love with her.”
