HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, DEAR MRS. HAKOBYAN!

It was Hranush Hakobyan’s (Diaspora minister) birthday recently. Her staff wrote her a congratulatory letter.

You can read the original Armenian version here. Or English translation bellow.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, DEAR MRS. HAKOBYAN!

A birthday serves as a unique opportunity to appreciate a person, to understand how important that person is and express feelings for him or her. What one says often becomes a series of beautiful words that mean more than feelings, and sometimes the feeling is so strong that words become powerless, but there are people who can be congratulated through the expression of words and feelings at the same time.

Dear Mrs. Hakobyan, just saying your name and last name already means saying words, and your essence is already the feeling. Lucky are those who truly know you and in seeing you as a strict, serious and demanding person, have seen you not only as an exemplary leader, state figure and a citizen who is unconditionally dedicated to her Homeland, but also a soft, tender, caring person. We have seen that kind of a person in you.

We take pride in you. Thanks to you, the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia is a successful state organization. At this moment, we would especially like to emphasize the fact that each of us develops through you, regardless of age. Whereas experience comes with age, by working with you, we become convinced that whoever hasn’t learned through Hakoyan has no experience, and whoever has learned through Hakobyan has won as a person and a state servant. You have taught us to be honest, to forgive and provide one with an opportunity, to lift and rise, not to gossip and protect, to make decisions, to be alert and responsible, to start something and finish it without giving up…You have conveyed many messages to us, and believe us when we say that we make every effort to stay true to them…

We must confess and say that we are often amazed at how deeply you see through people, how much you know about a person’s state of mind and we ask ourselves whether we can be like that someday or not. We probably won’t be like that because what you have within you is innate and is only characteristic of the select.

Your type, creativity and force reinforce us. You are our Base, our Leader, our Teacher and our Exceptional Person.

Dear Mrs. Hakobyan, accept the warmest congratulatory remarks from former and current employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

May you be healthy and continue your pro-national activities for the welfare of our Collective Homeland.

We wish you happiness, and as you often wish-May God be with you and all the members of your beautiful, traditional family.

We love you.

Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora
