Finally. I am a die hard apple fan too. Let’s see how real this thing becomes… Is there a release date? It looks like they have a magnetic power adapter, which is awesome. Still doesn’t seem lappable but whatever. it’s exciting as an apple fan boy too because Apple’s MO is to wait to let someone else “go there” first. The iPad is the result of all the Windows tablet failures to date, and before you assume I am assuming they were failures… I owned 3 windows based slate/tablet computers. So now a BEEEE-OOOO-TIFULL tablet from windows with a touch based(mostly) OS is here. This means that within 2 years the iOs/OSX baby will be born. That new thin mac book pro with the retina display in tablet form with touch OSX… mmmm…. and then the 2 OS manufacturers will be competing with hardware/Software combos. That is awesome.

EDIT: I didn’t even think about gaming… wow. They will fucking rule if whatever the next incarnation of xbox is has a seamless experience with Windows8…
