Artist Focus #015 - Mouses
Mouses are the latest duo to have burst onto the scene. Their self-titled debut EP is a spiky, lo-fi effort that makes a mockery of the idea that you need a fancy production desk or a great PR team behind you to get noticed. Recorded and produced in a single day, ‘Mouses’ proves that great music sometimes speaks for itself.
Despite it being very early days for the Teesside band (they formed less than three months ago), an invitation to play at this year’s Evolution Emerging is an admission of their immediate quality, and one suspects that their set will prove to be a festival highlight.
