“Recognize (feat. Drake)”- PARTYNEXTDOOR
PARTYNEXTDOOR has revealed a new song called “Recognize.” The Drake-assisted song features PARTYNEXTDOOR comfortably staying in the lane he’s created for himself. He sings about topics very similar to The Weeknd’s, but his vocals are a lot harsher. His voice always sounds slightly distorted and muffled but it fits with the type of production he uses. His singing isn’t great, but it’s not bad either. He’s nice to listen to, but I’m not rushing out to buy anything he makes. I think he fits in with the different styles Drake has assembled on his label. He has also announced that his first for-sale project, PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO, will be released on iTunes on July 29th. From what he’s released so far, I think it’ll sound a lot like its predecessor, PARTYNEXTDOOR. If you want to pre-order it, you can do so here. Enjoy.
