hi! So i saw your post about things that are killing cons, and im just curious as to how women in comics panels are a bad thing? Ive never been to one of those panels or any panel really.. are they condescending or?? like whats wrong with them. thanks for helping!

Women In Comics panels are frustrating because women have been present in the industry as long as there’s been one.

What happens when you have those panels is that it becomes the only panels women are on.

I’d much rather hear Gail Simone and Rachel Dodson talk about their favorite parts of the DCU than what it’s like to be women working for DC.

To the degree that there’s absolutely still ways women are dismissed and passed over in the industry, yes those panels have some place. But far too often, they’re the lion’s share of panels women are asked to be on when they shouldn’t be.
