When you think of a place that’s brimming with up and coming artists Los Angeles is probably one of the first cities that comes to mind. Regardless of genre, it seems like the place has a little bit of everything when it comes to music. One LA native that has recently peeked our interest over here at Jealous Gold is eaves, a producer who’s got a knack for taking chilled out beats and samples and effortlessly mending them together with serene yet colorful electronics. Every track on his debut EP Hiking Trails is full of life and they all beautifully crescendo into something that’s bound to leave listeners astonished and wanting more. Seeing as how it’s so wonderfully composed, it’s almost hard to believe that this is his first release and while eaves is pretty much new to the growing scene of producers, I’m certain that he’s here to stay.
