While at the Shandaken residency in Upstate New York I relaxed for the summer and tried to teach myself how to paint the sky. I offered anyone who mailed me a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope), I would paint the sky on the back of the sealed empty envelope and mail it back to them. The top image I found on Flickr.
