TEDTalks Building Wonder

Netflix has a collection of TEDTalks called Building Wonder.

The TEDTalks are quite good and inspiring on sustainable design.

Given that it’s creative commons property, I thought I would share the TED.com links for all of talks; especially for my architecture friends abroad who cannot access Netflix:

  1. Bjarke Ingels: 3 Warp-Speed Architecture Tales
  2. Thomas Heatherwick: Building the Seed Cathedral
  3. William McDonough: Cradle to Cradle Design
  4. Cameron Sinclair: Open-Source Architecture
  5. Joshua Prince-Ramus: Seattle’s Library
  6. Liz Diller: Plays with Architecture
  7. Alex Steffen: The Shareable Future of Cities
  8. James H. Kunstler: Dissects Suburbia
  9. Kamal Meattle: How to Grow Fresh Air
  10. Jane Poynter: Life in Biosphere 2
  11. Anupam Mishra: The Ancient Ingenuity of Water Harvesting
  12. Mitchell Joachim: Don’t Build Your Home, Grow It!
  13. Rachel Armstrong: Architecture That Repairs Itself?
  14. Joshua Prince-Ramus: Building a Theater That Remakes Itself
  15. Magnus Larsson: Turning Dunes into Architecture
  16. Michael Pawlyn: Using Nature’s Genius in Architecture
  17. Ellen Dunham-Jones: Retrofitting Suburbia

TED also has a section on Architectural Inspiration that is not part of this collection. (credit to the unexpected contractor for pointing this out!)
