Is this helping? I know the NYPD are just trying to comfort nervous straphangers in light of the Moscow bombings, but I don’t think the presence of assault rifles helps. To stay sane while living in a metropolis like NY, you can’t focus on the chance of terrorism, and having giant weapons in my face puts me at ease a lot less than it gives me maj sweaty palms.
