Hi, my name is Jonathan. I have thing for technology, pop culture, and Taylor Swift.

I have been to nine O.A.R. concerts and out of all of the first eight I’ve yet to like the opening act. Ninth time’s a charm? Apparently it is in this case. The latest show I went to was last month in Myrtle Beach. The opening band was called ‘Company of Thieves.’ Like all of the bands I’ve seen perform with O.A.R., I had never heard of them. This one was different, though. For one thing, the front man was a woman (a very cute one, in fact). I had trouble hearing the lyrics at the concert due to some shoddy audio engineering, but I could tell they were alright. Turns out I was right. On the way home from the show, I pulled them up on Rdio and listened to both of their albums. 'Oscar Wilde’ is from their first album, Ordinary Riches, and is probably my favorite. My favorite from the second album, Running from a Gamble, is 'Talulah.’ It’s very upbeat and fun (despite the fact that it’s about death).
Check them out. They are fairly unknown and deserve some attention.
