Are there any books you can think of that are similar to Perks of Being a Wallflower in their 90's setting? I'm really interested in that decade and I know you give great recommendations.

I haven’t actually read many books set in the 90s, except for children’s books I actually bought in the 90s, like Goosebumps and The Princess Diaries (published in 2000)! I don’t think they’re really like Perks, but you could try The Future of Us, Tomorrow When the War Began, How I Live Now (I think?), Eleanor & Park (not 90s, but 1986), Tape (I haven’t yet read this, but I’ve seen it being compared to Perks), Summer Sisters, Time Between Us.
